Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered
How does Skyrocket English work?
Skyrocket English classes are all about speaking. In the first 50% of the class you will speak about a real-world topic, chosen by you for your homework activity.
In the second 50% students generally practise either grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation (or a combination) with all language points taught through targeted speaking exercises known as oral agility.
Finally, you will be given a comprehension exercise for homework with a podcast or video (of your choice) to consume which you will speak about next class. Extra homework activities are available – do as much or as little as you want.
What is oral agility?
Oral agility involves targeted exercises to practise grammar and vocabulary points through speaking. It mimics the way you learned your native language as a child, but in a condensed form, allowing you to expand your knowledge of English and put more and more complicated sentences together, almost without thinking.
Do you teach business English?
Yes, I have taught business English for seven years, working with clients such as Gucci, Sace, Fedrigoni and more. I can expand your business vocabulary, help you practise for an interview, a big meeting with clients or just improve your communication skills for everyday situations at work.
What ages do you teach?
I teach teens and adults.
What if I need to reschedule a class?
I offer a fully flexible service. You can cancel a class with 6 hours’ notice and your lesson token will be returned to use at a future date.
Where do classes take place?
All classes take place on the video-conferencing platform Introwise. No need to download a program, just follow the link sent to you when you book a class.

The Ultimate C1 Phrasebook: OUT NOW!
You have studied English for years. You know the grammar and a good range of vocabulary, and have no problem conversing with second-language speakers. But then there are the natives: Americans, Australians, New Zealanders, and of course, the British.
What language are they speaking?
If conversations with mother-tongue speakers leave you confused, then this is the book for you. With a focus on British English, Bad English unlocks the secrets of colloquial language, revealing the phrases natives use to express feelings, tell stories, complain about stuff, insult each other, avoid work – and above all, make each other laugh.
